The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ramos avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Alexsandro Ramos seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Aisland throws a leg kick that misses.
Ramos jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Ramos throws the left hand but Aisland avoids the punch easily.
Aisland fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Ramos throws out a counter right but Aisland avoids it with no problem.
Ramos tests Aisland's chin there with a solid looking shot.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Ramos has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Ramos lands a jab to the head.
Aisland uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Ramos.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Aisland takes a jab right on the kisser.
Ramos bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Aisland's head.
Aisland misses with a hook. Ramos ducked under it nicely.
Ramos cracks Aisland with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Ramos lands with an uppercut that bounces Aisland off the cage and back into range.

Aisland shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Ramos throws a shot from downtown. Aisland moves away and avoids it.
Ramos rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Aisland counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

It looks like Alexsandro Ramos has been cut.
Aisland definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Ramos scores with a hook.
Aisland pivots, looking for a leg kick but Ramos is out of range and Aisland settles back down.
Aisland uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Ramos.
Ramos connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Aisland's hands.

Aisland is rocked!

Ramos fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Aisland looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Oh Aisland is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Aisland looks up at the clock. Bad move! Ramos lands a right hand from hell, dropping Aisland. Ramos pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.
