Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Joseph Henry Pageau (ranked 3084 p4p, 3045 weight class) and Heke Jogert (ranked 420 p4p, 414 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Heke Jogert!
The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, Lou da Vinci and David Schapiro.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jogert gets cracked there but stands up to it.

It looks like Heke Jogert has been cut.
Pageau chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Jogert can pounce on him.
Pageau takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Pageau throws a poor cross that misses
and Jogert counters with a nice kick to the body.
Pageau misses with a wild body shot.
Jogert buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Jogert misses the jab.
Heke Jogert seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jogert lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.

Jogert clinches with his opponent.

A head punch on the inside from Pageau fails to land.
Pageau prevents a body shot from Jogert.
Jogert scores with a shoulder strike.
Pageau throws a head punch that misses.

Jogert breaks from the clinch.
Jogert lands a front kick.

Jogert drives through and clinches with Pageau against the cage.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Pageau tries to circle away but Jogert has him pinned against the cage.
Jogert lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Jogert lands on the inside with an uppercut.
Jogert scores with an uppercut up the middle.
Jogert blocks an uppercut.
Jogert looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

Pageau's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Jogert lands a head kick. Pageau smiles back at him and beckons him forward.

It looks like Joseph Henry Pageau has been cut.
Jogert tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Pageau manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
The fighters circle, before Jogert throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Pageau's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Jogert lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!
