Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Michael Collins (ranked 1973 p4p, 1451 weight class) and Jesus Christ Karter (ranked 232 p4p, 190 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Michael Collins! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 19 - 12 - 1, fighting out of New York, Jesus Christ Karter! The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Summer Carpenter and Chris Dean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Collins tries a head kick but it misses.
Karter cracks Collins with a right hand to the side of the head. Karter pushes Collins up against the cage in a clinch. I was talking to Collins's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight. Collins struggles to land a body shot inside as Karter controls his hands.
Karter drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
We've been informed that Karter has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result. Karter is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Collins is defending well. Collins works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
Karter lands an uppercut. Collins throws a knee to the head but misses.
Karter escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Michael Collins seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A head kick misses from Karter. Collins goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Karter with the counter takedown but Collins avoids it easily. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Karter connects with a jab. Collins wants to clinch but Karter slips to the side enabling Karter to counter with a crisp jab.
Collins is rocked! Collins throws a combination that misses and as Collins loses concentration momentarily, Karter counters with a picture perfect head kick! Collins goes down, out cold! The referee rushed in to check on his condition - I'm sure he'll be ok but that was a massive knockout!
