Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Roger Andermatt (ranked 344 p4p, 628 weight class) and Kron Diego (ranked 46 p4p, 73 weight class). Roger Andermatt could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Kron Diego's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 17 - 15 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Roger Andermatt!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 24 - 10 - 1, fighting out of New York, Kron Diego!
The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, John Mangel and Ron Honeybunn.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Diego looks to land a left hand but Andermatt moved out of range nicely.
Diego throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Andermatt connects with a crisp jab.
Diego with the inside leg kick.
Andermatt throws a chopping leg kick but Diego manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Diego throws a body punch but Andermatt moves out of range.
Andermatt tries a head kick but it misses.
Diego steps in looking to counter with the mid kick but it doesn't connect.
Andermatt looks to land a left hand but Diego moved out of range nicely.
And Diego responds with a good body kick, but Andermatt manages to step out the way in time.
Andermatt misses with a hook. Diego ducked under it nicely.
Andermatt gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Diego.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Andermatt does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Andermatt really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
That kick from Andermatt tenderised Diego's leg. Diego is trying to keep his angry face on.

Andermatt swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Diego.
Diego chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Andermatt can pounce on him.

It seemed like Diego was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Andermatt throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Roger Andermatt seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Andermatt catches Diego with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

Diego ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Diego unleashes a big counter combination but Andermatt bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
Diego throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Andermatt scores with a hook to the body. Diego takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
A nice inside leg kick there by Andermatt. That's going to slow Diego down.

Diego replies with a solid counter kick to the body but Andermatt blocks it well.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Diego seems to have recovered his senses.

and Diego counters with a crisp one two that drops Andermatt! Diego thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Andermatt to his feet! Andermatt is in big trouble!

Andermatt is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.

Oh Andermatt is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Diego digs a good hook to Andermatt's body.

Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with each other but Diego might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Andermatt has got the better of the exchanges.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Both fighters circle each other, looking for something big. Diego moves in and throws an overhand right. That hurt Andermatt! Diego continues to tee off on Andermatt, landing with a left and a right! Diego connects with a right hand that leaves Andermatt sleeping against the cage! What a finish by Diego!

In his post fight interview, Kron Diego started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
