The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Torvald throws an off balance right hand
and Galilei connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Galilei feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Torvalds jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

It looks like Yamamura Torvald has been cut.
Torvald misses with a hook. Galilei ducked under it nicely.
A telegraphed right hand from Torvald misses the target.
Torvald scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Galilei has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Galilei cracks a nice hook into Torvald's ribs.
Torvald rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Galilei counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Galilei looks to score with a jab to the body but Torvald is just out of range.
We've been hearing reports that Torvald has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.

Galilei fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Torvald looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Galilei ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.

Galilei bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Torvald's head backwards.
Galilei is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.
Galilei lands a nice looking body shot.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Galilei cracks Torvald with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Torvald looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Galilei finish him?
Galilei is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Torvald had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into mush.
Torvald takes a shot to the body in his stride.

Galilei lands a big right hand that sends Torvald crashing to the mat! Galilei stays standing though and waves Torvald back to his feet!

Yamamura Torvald's cut is getting worse.
Galilei is stalking Torvald. Torvald circles to his left. Keeps circling left. Bam! Straight right from Galilei, and it's lights out! Torvald really payed the price for that rookie mistake.
