Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Bill King (ranked 3090 p4p, 5676 weight class) and Yuuji Hoshino (ranked 191 p4p, 292 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Bill King! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Yuuji Hoshino! The judges for this bout are Winston Alpacca, David Hoff and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! King wants to clinch and Hoshino counters with a nice uppercut. Hoshino misses with a looping right. King is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Bill King seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. King tries to clinch up. Hoshino steps in looking to counter with the mid kick but it doesn't connect. King tries to close the distance and clinch but Hoshino swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Hoshino is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own. Hoshino keeps the fight on the outside. Hoshino throws the left hand but King avoids the punch easily. King tries to clinch there but Hoshino circles away.
King tries to clinch up. King definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. King looks to clinch and Hoshino counters with a lovely straight right hand! Hoshino dips to his left and cracks King with an uppercut! We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. King is looking to take this fight into the clinch. King doesn't manage to clinch there - Hoshino circles away.
King tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Hoshino manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Hoshino throws a body kick that misses. King tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Hoshino manages to circle out of the way. Hoshino throws a body shot but no joy. King tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Hoshino cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
That's one minute gone in the round. King tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. King fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Hoshino, pushing him back against the cage. King jumps into guard, dragging Hoshino to the mat.
Hoshino seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. King has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Hoshino should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, King has tightened it up now! Hoshino should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:42 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Bill King!
