Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jon Talbain (ranked 24440 p4p, 24311 weight class) and Boxing Powerhous (ranked 245 p4p, 236 weight class). Boxing Powerhous has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Jon Talbain's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 5 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jon Talbain! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 8 - 8 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Boxing Powerhous! The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Chris Downing and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Powerhous swats away the attempt to clinch by Talbain. Talbain tries to clinch up and Powerhous counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Talbain definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Powerhous must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Talbain lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard. Powerhous lands with a heel strike from the guard.
Powerhous keeping moving, preventing Talbain from controlling successfully. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Powerhous pulls Talbain in close to his closed guard and prevents Talbain from doing any damage or advancing position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Talbain wants to control from the top but Powerhous keeps moving. Talbain drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Talbain jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Powerhous is working an open guard so Talbain takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Powerhous drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Talbain is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Powerhous passes Talbain's left leg - he's now in half guard. Talbain is staying active underneath Powerhous, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Talbain moves into full guard.
Talbain escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Powerhous gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Talbain is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Powerhous throws a strike but Talbain rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Talbain trying to control but Powerhous is working from the bottom. Powerhous looking for a guillotine here but Talbain defends easily.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Powerhous can do anything to dispel that myth.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Talbain sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Powerhous's guard. Talbain is looking to take a break and control but Powerhous is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Talbain wants to pass to mount but Powerhous is defending the position. Powerhous looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Powerhous blocking the ground and pound attempt from Talbain. Talbain is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Powerhous is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
