Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Tiesahn Colombo (ranked 5073 p4p, 5180 weight class) and Ed Bacon (ranked 487 p4p, 493 weight class). Bacon is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Bacon. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Tiesahn Colombo! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Ed Bacon! The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, Anthony Taglia and Alyssa Summers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Colombo throws out a loose jab but Bacon uses good head movement to avoid it. Jab, jab by Bacon - just one landing.
It looks like Tiesahn Colombo has been cut. Colombo just misses with a punch to the body.
Colombo drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Bacon misses with a left hand and Colombo decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Bacon's guard. Bacon utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Colombo throws a big elbow that misses. Colombo postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Colombo trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Bacon is pulling down on Colombo's head. It's preventing any offense from Colombo, at least for the moment. Bacon looking for a sweep. Not yet Bacon, not yet. Colombo working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Colombo trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Colombo looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Colombo is looking to work some ground and pound but Bacon has wrist control. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Colombo passes Bacon's left leg - he's now in half guard. Colombo stalling away here and it's allowed Bacon to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard. Colombo controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Colombo throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Bacon works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Colombo is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Colombo working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Colombo lands a couple of digs. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Colombo postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Colombo is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Colombo throwing strikes but missing. Bacon looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bacon bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Bacon thows a left - swing and a miss! Colombo tries to counter with a takedown but Bacon is quick to defend against it. A momentary lapse in concentration from Bacon enables Colombo to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Bacon manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Bacon being controlled here, momentarily. Colombo trying to control but Bacon is working from the bottom. Colombo throws a strike but Bacon rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Colombo has his hands on Bacon's head, controlling the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Colombo wants to sweep here but Bacon controlling him for the moment. Colombo controls Bacon momentarily but Bacon frees himself. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Colombo looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Tiesahn Colombo dominated that round. The cut man is working on Tiesahn Colombo's cut. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! Colombo moves forwards but Bacon connects with a nice, crisp jab. We've been informed that Bacon has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight. Bacon throws the left hand but Colombo avoids the punch easily. Colombo changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit. Bacon bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Colombo's head backwards. Colombo throws a looping overhand right but Bacon ducks down to avoid it. Bacon lands with a cross. Bacon misses with a hook
and Colombo counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Bacon! The strikes coming from Colombo are missing the target in this wave of attacks. Bacon parries the strikes from Colombo easily there. Colombo is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Bacon to escape.
Colombo cracks Bacon with an elbow. That is naaassty. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Bacon can't do much from the bottom here. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Colombo throwing shots but missing, from side control. Colombo is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Bacon knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
That's one minute gone in the round. An elbow from Colombo crashes against the mat.
Colombo is looking to take a break and control but Bacon is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Colombo in side control, throwing shots but Bacon defends. Colombo throws an elbow but Bacon slips to the side and avoids it well. Bacon defending against the ground and pound. Colombo trying to control the action but Bacon is working from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Colombo is working Bacon over with some ground and pound from side control. Colombo landing strikes. Colombo creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Bacon sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike. Bacon manages to get back to half guard. Colombo sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Bacon defending well though. Colombo wants to take a breather but Bacon is having none of it. Colombo stalling. Bacon trying to hold on to Colombo's head to control him but Colombo postures up.
We've been hearing that Colombo has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Colombo is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Bacon defends it well. Colombo missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Colombo throwing shots but Bacon is blocking nicely. Colombo with the ground and pound but Bacon uses the opportunity to regain guard. Colombo postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Bacon working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Colombo. Bacon avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Colombo controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Colombo scoring with some ground and pound. Colombo seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Colombo trying to control the position from guard on top but Bacon is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Colombo keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Bacon's head. Colombo has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Colombo controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Bacon wants to sweep but no luck. Colombo keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Bacon's head. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round! Bacon tests Colombo's chin there with a solid looking shot. Colombo waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Bacon. Colombo scores with a takedown into Bacon's guard. Colombo throwing strikes from guard but Bacon blocks nicely. Bacon is controlling Colombo's posture. Colombo postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Colombo working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Bacon's head. Bacon is pulling down on Colombo's head. It's preventing any offense from Colombo, at least for the moment. Colombo postures up in Bacon's guard and throws a big left but Bacon blocks it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Colombo is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Colombo is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Colombo throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Colombo is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Bacon can do to turn this around? Colombo landing with the ground and pound. Colombo engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Bacon is trying to keep Colombo in close.
Ed Bacon has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Tiesahn Colombo is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Bacon throws a looping overhand right but Colombo ducks down to avoid it. Bacon keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

And that's the end of the fight! Tiesahn Colombo showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Colombo, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
