Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Michal Sykora!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Mad Hatter!
The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, Dean Styles and John Roberts.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sykora misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Hatter moves out of range of the body kick.
Hatter scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Sykora misses with a body kick.
A lazy left from Hatter finds it's target.
Sykora definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
A head kick misses from Sykora.
Hatter connects with an inside leg kick.
Sykora throws a wild body kick that Hatter sees coming a mile off.
Sykora throws a body kick despite being completely out of range
and Sykora takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Hatter avoids the head kick by Sykora.
Hatter waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Sykora.
Hatter cracks Sykora with a right hand to the side of the head.
Sykora pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Sykora looks to throw a body kick
and Hatter makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Michal Sykora seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hatter throws a hook but Sykora blocks it.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Hatter drops Sykora with a beautiful combination! Sykora stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Hatter is looking for the KO!
Sykora is rocked!
Sykora closes the distance and pushes Hatter back into the cage.
Oh Sykora is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Hatter pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
A lazy body kick from Sykora
and Hatter counters with a big right hand! Oh Sykora is in trouble here! Hatter follows up with more strikes and that's it! The ref has stopped it!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:15 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Mad Hatter!
