Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Stevo Caruga (ranked 1238 p4p, 2120 weight class) and Leon McClane (ranked 163 p4p, 286 weight class). McClane has chosen Cypress Hill - Insane in the Brain as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Leon McClane will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Caruga keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from McClane.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Caruga.
Caruga misses with a few strikes there.
Caruga closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Caruga lands in his opponent's guard.
Caruga stands and throws McClane's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Caruga definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Caruga tries to advance to mount but McClane denies him.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Caruga swings around for an armbar but McClane sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Caruga's guard.
McClane stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Caruga swivels though and keeps the full guard.
McClane is posturing up here but Caruga has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! McClane tries to roll out but it's too tight and McClane has to tap! Slick submission there by Caruga!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Stevo Caruga!
In defeat, Leon McClane stepped up to the mic, saying 'see you in the tournament.'.
