Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are David Hoff, Daniel Franklin and Santiago Holmes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kavala throws a hook but Gavalwack blocks it.
Kavala throws a body punch but Gavalwack moves out of range.
Kavala shoots in and bounces Gavalwack off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Kavala postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Kavala has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Kavala stands up over Gavalwack, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Kavala looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Gavalwack with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Kavala in particular looking to stall.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Gavalwack knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Kavala on the ground.

Kavala looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Kavala lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Kavala looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Gavalwack wants to get back to his feet.

Kavala fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

Kavala lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Oh Gavalwack is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Gavalwack seems to have got his legs back now.

Kavala loads up with a big shot that hurts Gavalwack! He's pulled Kavala in close but Kavala has postured up and lands more strikes. Can Gavalwack survive? More strikes from Kavala and Gavalwack is out! The ref jumps in to save him! Brutal ground and pound!
