Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Supa Plex (ranked 5384 p4p, 25725 weight class) and Danny Togo (ranked 550 p4p, 697 weight class). Danny Togo will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Togo fails to land with a series of punches.
Plex with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Plex throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Togo's waist but Togo gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Plex off to one side.
Plex swings and misses with a hook to the body.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Plex.

and Togo counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Supa Plex. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Togo gets caught flat footed, as Plex shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Togo has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Plex off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.

Togo decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Plex, up you get!

Togo misses with a takedown attempt - Plex sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Togo decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Plex is staying active underneath Togo, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Togo takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Plex wants to hold on but Togo pushes him away.
Plex is working to get back to half guard.
Togo wants to control the pace but Plex is squirming around nicely.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Horrible takedown attempt by Togo or perhaps it was just good defense by Plex, which made it look bad.
Togo moves in looking to clinch but Plex pushes him off.

Plex takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Plex accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Togo is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

That was a close second round but I would say that Supa Plex will probably get the nod.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!

Plex fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Togo walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Togo ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
And Togo tries to counter it with a takedown but Plex pushes his down on his head and steps out.
