Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Vvv Vvv (ranked 24497 p4p, 6653 weight class) and Sss Sss (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sss Sss has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 16 - 2, fighting out of Las Vegas, Vvv Vvv!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 14 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sss Sss!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Robert Twigg and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Vvv will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Sss replies with a solid counter kick to the body but Vvv blocks it well.
Vvv looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Sss tries to roll over but Vvv keeps him under control.
Sss flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Vvv trying to control from half guard but Sss is working away.
Sss is holding on to half guard well.

Vvv postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Sss to stand up.
Sss shoots in for a takedown but Vvv shows good takedown defense.
Vvv quickly followed up with a counter body kick but doesn't connect.
Sss dives in and scores a takedown into Vvv's guard.
Vvv manages to escape and get back to his feet.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Vvv looks for a takedown but Sss sprawls well.
And Sss responds with a good body kick, but Vvv manages to step out the way in time.

Vvv fails with a takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Vvv Vvv. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Sss decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Sss decides to stand and escape the position.
Vvv misses with a takedown attempt - Sss sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Sss follows through with a counter body kick but it doesn't land.

Sss fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Vvv to the ground. Sss is now in Vvv's guard.
Sss not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Vvv Vvv will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Sss closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Vvv to the mat! Vvv manages to get full guard.
Sss controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Sss won't allow Vvv to get back to his feet.

Vvv is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Sss is controlling him.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Vvv Vvv overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Sss's corner is telling him to maintain position.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up.
Vvv circles away from the clinch attempt.
Vvv is looking to counter with head kicks.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Sss shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Vvv but Vvv pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Vvv shoots and misses
and Sss counters with a body kick that stops Vvv in his tracks momentarily.
Sss shoots in and drives through. Vvv sprawls well.
Vvv thinks about countering with a head kick.
Sss will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
And Vvv counters with a quick kick to the body but Sss blocks it.
Vvv Vvv has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sss Sss.

Vvv manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage.
Sss can't get the takedown.
Vvv is trying to force a seperation but Sss has the dominant position.
Sss keeps control of Vvv as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

Vvv pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Vvv shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Sss counters with a body kick that stops Vvv in his tracks momentarily.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Sss shoots in and gets a takedown into Vvv's guard.
Vvv is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Sss dives into side control.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Sss Sss showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

Vvv shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Sss napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Sss sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Sss dives in for a single leg takedown but Vvv sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
And Vvv counters with a quick kick to the body but Sss blocks it.
Sss misses with a body kick.
Vvv is looking to counter with a body kick.
Sss shoots in for a double leg but Vvv sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Vvv Vvv has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sss Sss.

Vvv fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Sss appeared to try and counter that last move with a leg kick.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Sss.
Vvv quickly followed up with a counter body kick but doesn't connect.
Sss Sss seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Sss misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

Vvv shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Sss pinned against the cage. Sss gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Sss.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
You can see the frustration on Vvv's face as Sss controls the position.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Let's hope that Sss has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
Vvv is trying to get back to his feet.
