Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Dominique Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Drew Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Dominique Brown has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Dominique Brown seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Alec Ball and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brown scores a takedown into full mount!
Brown looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Jones is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Jones wants to try and get back to his feet.
Brown avoids the attempt from Jones to control.
Jones is trying desperately to improve position.

Brown is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Jones is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Jones has escaped and now he's on top!

Brown is trying to control Jones's posture but Jones avoids it.
Jones works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
Jones works to advance to full mount. Brown defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.
Brown is desperately trying to get back to half guard.

Jones stands up from the dominant position, so we're back on the feet.

Jones keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Jones shoots and misses
and Brown counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Brown is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Brown not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Brown is looking for a kimura here.
Brown slips a nice elbow through Jones's hands, connecting with Jones's forehead.
Brown looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Jones with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Brown is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Jones defends it well.

Jones is refusing to be controlled, as Brown sits in half guard.
Brown is nestled in close to Jones, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

That was a close round but I would say that Dominique Brown will probably get the nod.

Jones closes the distance and clinches up with Brown, looking for a takedown. Jones pushes Brown against the cage but Brown circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Dominique Brown overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Jones wants to hold on but Brown pushes him away.
Brown connects with a couple of good shots from mount.

Jones is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Brown's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Brown's back!

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Jones gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Jones throws a series of punches but Brown avoids them all with ease.

Jones is trying to drag Brown to the mat but Brown just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Brown has gone for a leg lock! Jones slips out almost immediately though and dives into Brown's guard.

Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Jones stands up out of the half guard.
Jones doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Brown decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Jones's guard.
Brown throws a big right hand that misses.
Jones preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Brown cracks Jones with a solid left hand.
Jones wants to stand and escape but Brown is having none of it.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Brown, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
