Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Oswaldo Fadda Jr (ranked 3465 p4p, 2897 weight class) and Rogerio Duarte (ranked 440 p4p, 378 weight class). Rogerio Duarte is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Oswaldo Fadda Jr! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 14 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Rogerio Duarte! The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Taro Takaoka and Yukihiro Shimada.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nice body kick from Duarte. Duarte throws a nice head kick!
A slow jab from Fadda Jr misses its intended target. Fadda Jr definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Fadda Jr jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Duarte looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Fadda Jr lands a lovely overhand right. Duarte swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Fadda Jr changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit. Duarte misses with an uppercut. Fadda Jr saw that one coming. Fadda Jr shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Duarte but Duarte pushes him off and we're back to square one. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Duarte throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Good standup being displayed there by Duarte as he connects with a hook.
That's one minute gone in the round. Duarte throws a leg kick which misses Fadda Jr's front leg but catches the back leg as Fadda Jr tries to avoid it. Fadda Jr lunges at Duarte with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Duarte's hand. Duarte looks to throw the jab but Fadda Jr is out of range. Fadda Jr lands with a shot to the body. Duarte motions for Fadda Jr to come forward. Duarte throws a leg kick but it misses it's target. A counter left hand to the body from Fadda Jr misses its target. Duarte walks into a jab. Duarte throws a right and a left that Fadda Jr avoids nicely. Fadda Jr throws a body punch but Duarte moves out of range. An inside leg kick from Duarte misses. Duarte pivots, looking for a leg kick but Fadda Jr is out of range and Duarte settles back down.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Duarte lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Duarte misses with a jab, cross combination.
Duarte tried to score with a low kick but Fadda Jr checks it. Duarte moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Fadda Jr throws a predictable looking body shot
and Duarte counters with a body kick that stops Fadda Jr in his tracks momentarily. Duarte throws a head kick that misses and Fadda Jr counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Duarte lands with a nice body punch. Duarte fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Fadda Jr looks for a takedown but Duarte sprawls well.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fadda Jr swings for the body but Duarte moves out of range.
Fadda Jr is looking to wear down Duarte with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment. Fadda Jr rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
enabling Duarte to counter with a crisp jab. Duarte lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Fadda Jr throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Duarte throws out a counter right but Fadda Jr avoids it with no problem. Fadda Jr keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Duarte attempts a low kick but it misses it's target. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. A left lands for Fadda Jr. Duarte lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Duarte connects with a solid leg kick. Duarte keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Duarte scores with a jab to the body. Fadda Jr lands a right hook to the body.

Rogerio Duarte dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. A head kick misses from Duarte. It looked like Fadda Jr was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Duarte. Fadda Jr checks a leg kick. Fadda Jr lands with a straight right. Duarte didn't see that one coming. Fadda Jr takes a swing at Duarte's ribcage but misses. A jab from Fadda Jr finds it's way through Duarte's defenses. Duarte throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Fadda Jr misses with a wild body shot. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Fadda Jr uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Duarte. Duarte misses with a shot to the body and Fadda Jr counters with a stiff right hand. Excellent takedown into side control there by Fadda Jr.
That's one minute gone in the round. Duarte is trying to get back to half guard. Fadda Jr throws a strike aimed at the side of Duarte's head but Duarte avoids it well. Duarte tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Fadda Jr wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Duarte keeping his opponent close. Fadda Jr goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Duarte has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Fadda Jr but great work by Duarte. Duarte controls the position. Duarte's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. Fadda Jr tries to buck Duarte off but Duarte is having none of it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Fadda Jr is working hard here to advance position. Fadda Jr manages to get back to half guard. Duarte sitting and controlling from the half guard. Fadda Jr is trying to get back to full guard. Fadda Jr looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Fadda Jr is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Duarte's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Duarte's back!
That's three minutes gone in the round. You can see the frustration on Duarte's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
Duarte defends a rear naked choke attempt by controlling one of Fadda Jr's arms. Fadda Jr gets his hands free as Duarte looks to control. Fadda Jr is looking to finish with some ground and pound! Duarte looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment. Duarte wriggles onto his back under a barage of strikes.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Duarte tries to hold on but Fadda Jr postures up. Fadda Jr fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Duarte is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Duarte is squirming around, avoiding Fadda Jr's attempts to control the action. The referee warns Duarte that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Fadda Jr moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Duarte has worked his arm free - good work by Duarte!
Duarte manages to work his way to half guard, despite Fadda Jr's best efforts. Duarte is looking to improve his position.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Oswaldo Fadda Jr dominated that second round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round! Duarte will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Fadda Jr scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. Fadda Jr ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Rogerio Duarte seems to be getting the better of the standup. Fadda Jr scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Duarte is rocked! Duarte walks into a jab. Duarte is still on wobbly legs! Can Fadda Jr finish him? Fadda Jr swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Fadda Jr misses with a hook. Duarte ducked under it nicely. Fadda Jr cracks Duarte with an open hand slap. Fadda Jr cracks Duarte with a brutal left hook that knocks him out cold! This one is over in a flash! Game over!
