Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Pate Mfer (ranked 2885 p4p, 4175 weight class) and Takaru Mamura (ranked 392 p4p, 525 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Pate Mfer! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Takaru Mamura! The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Trevor Gratis and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mamura displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Mfer throws out the jab. It seemed like Mamura was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. Mamura steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Mfer. Mfer fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Mamura manages to avoid it. Mamura now looks to counter with a shot at the body. Mfer throws a hook but Mamura blocks it. Mamura misses the shot to the body. It looked like Mfer was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Mamura. Mamura moves out of range as Mfer throws a body kick.
Mamura stuns Mfer with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Mfer just misses with a punch to the body.
Mamura fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Mfer manages to avoid it. Pate Mfer seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Mfer avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Mfer looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger. Mamura fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Mamura ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Mfer moves away. A low kick from Mfer misses and Mamura counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Mfer uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Mamura.

and Mamura makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mfer throws a sloppy head kick and Mamura moves out of range easily. Mfer's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Mamura connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Mfer scrambles back to his feet. Mfer throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. A decent looking cross lands there for Mamura. We've been informed that Mamura has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result. Mamura connects with a crisp jab. Mamura jabs Mfer to the body, keeping him at a distance. Mamura gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Mamura keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Mfer. Mamura appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body. Mamura misses with a jab, cross combination.
Mfer misses with a body kick. Mamura looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. A chopping leg kick lands by Mfer. An inside leg kick from Mfer misses. Mfer misses with a few strikes there.
Mamura is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Mfer rather than just go for the knockout. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Mfer moves in looking to clinch but Mamura pushes him off. Mamura ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Mfer moves away.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A swing and a miss from Mamura. Mamura misses the jab. Mamura lands with a shot to the body. Mfer throws a body punch but Mamura moves out of range. Mfer definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Mamura misses with a hook. Mfer ducked under it nicely. Mamura misses with a wild combination.
Mfer uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Mamura. Mfer thuds his right hand into Mamura's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Mamura swings for the body but Mfer moves out of range.
Mfer waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Mamura. Mfer misses with the body kick and Mamura counters with a nice uppercut. Mamura takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Mamura is rocked! Mfer fakes the leg kick and throws a superman punch. It's knocked Mamura out cold! Brutal finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Superman Punch). Pate Mfer!
