Coming up we have a featherweight kickboxing rules bout between Yushi Sakura (ranked 3535 p4p, 6644 weight class) and Jop Hop (ranked 341 p4p, 504 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Yushi Sakura!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jop Hop!
The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Hirohito Nitta and Shigeki Sano.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sakura tries to clinch up.
Sakura fails with an attempt to clinch.
Sakura scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
It looks like Jop Hop has been cut.
Sakura lands a head kick. Hop smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Hop is rocked!
Hop throws a lazy right hand but Sakura sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Sakura is looking to clinch.
Hop swats away the attempt to clinch by Sakura.
Hop walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Sakura circles away from the clinch attempt
and Sakura counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Hop is still on wobbly legs! Can Sakura finish him?
Hop should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Sakura tries to close the distance and clinch up but Hop swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Hop seems to have recovered his senses.
Sakura closes the distance and clinches.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Hop has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.

Sakura tries to break free but Hop pushes him back against the ropes.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Sakura tries to close the distance and clinch but Hop swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

and Sakura cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Jop Hop's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
Sakura is looking to clinch.
Sakura fails in his attempt to clinch.

Sakura tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but Hop paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Sakura moves in looking to clinch but Hop pushes him off.
Hop fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Sakura wants to clinch up but Hop keeps it at a distance.
Sakura scores with a nice strike.
Sakura cracks Hop with a left hand that drops him to the canvas, up against the ropes! Can Hop get back up in time? 3, 4, 5, 6, 7... he's on one knee... 8, 9... he's up! 'Walk towards me' says the referee. Hop looks steady enough to continue so we're going to continue!
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Jop Hop's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Yushi Sakura!
