Coming up we have a bantamweight kickboxing rules bout between Fanaki Fukawa (ranked 25337 p4p, 23774 weight class) and Shigatsu Miyamoto (ranked 349 p4p, 352 weight class). Miyamoto has chosen 82.99 FM as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. The key to victory for Fanaki Fukawa has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Fanaki Fukawa! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Shigatsu Miyamoto! The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Kenichi Hosakawa and Yasuomi Hirokawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Miyamoto scoring well with a low kick there.
Fukawa takes a body punch but keeps moving. Miyamoto gets in close and instigates a clinch. Miyamoto is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body. Miyamoto breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Miyamoto!
Miyamoto rushes Fukawa and pushes him back against the ropes in a clinch. Miyamoto's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Miyamoto clinches. Fukawa can't break the clinch.
Fukawa tries to circle away but Miyamoto has him pinned against the ropes. Miyamoto manages to break the clinch.
This has been an exciting period of action! A left and a right from Miyamoto both land. Nice combination. Miyamoto throws a leg kick which misses Fukawa's front leg but catches the back leg as Fukawa tries to avoid it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Miyamoto misses with a jab, cross combination.
Fukawa is looking to counter with head kicks. Miyamoto moves into the clinch. Fukawa tries to break free but Miyamoto pushes him back against the ropes. Fukawa wants to break the clinch but can't.
Fukawa tries to break the clinch but Miyamoto is controlling the position. Fukawa is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the ropes. Miyamoto escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Left hook, right uppercut from Miyamoto. Miyamoto gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Miyamoto breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Miyamoto throws a quick inside leg kick.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Miyamoto feints and then cracks Fukawa's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Fukawa down. Miyamoto lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
This has been an exciting period of action! Fukawa chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Miyamoto can pounce on him.
Miyamoto has closed the distance and engaged Fukawa in a clinch.
Fukawa is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the ropes. Miyamoto using the Thai clinch to land knees to the body.
Fukawa is breathing heavily. A frustrated look appears on Fukawa's face as he tries to break the clinch. Fukawa is trying to break the clinch but Miyamoto has him pressed against the ropes. Miyamoto pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Miyamoto lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. Miyamoto throws a combination. Fukawa tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
That's three minutes gone in the round. A nice combination there by Miyamoto.
Fukawa is rocked! Miyamoto fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Fukawa. Fanaki Fukawa is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Miyamoto dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Fukawa. That did some damage! Miyamoto's coach down at Brotherhood MMA was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Miyamoto's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight. Fukawa steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Miyamoto. That one must have hurt. Miyamoto shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Fukawa eats them both and turns towards Miyamoto to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo. Oh Fukawa is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Miyamoto scores with a big combo that sends Fukawa crashing to the mat! He's still conscious but the referee has seen enough as Fukawa flops around uncontrollably and he's called an end to the fight! Miyamoto jumps onto the ropes and throws his mouthpiece into the crowd. Gross.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:42 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Shigatsu Miyamoto! A relieved looking Shigatsu Miyamoto thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
