The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Doncic moves into the clinch.

Doncic fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Gunner, pushing him back against the ropes.

Doncic pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Gunner looks to land a body kick but Doncic moved away.

Doncic has Gunner up against the ropes in a clinch.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Gunner swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Gunner gets tackled into the ropes by Doncic. Doncic maintains the clinch.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Doncic lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Gunner or not.
Gunner looks winded!
Doncic lands a nice elbow.

It looks like Young Gunner has been cut.

Doncic's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Doncic moves into range and clinches up with Gunner.

Doncic escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Luka Doncic seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Doncic breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Doncic scores with a jab and follows up with an uppercut that drops Gunner to his knees! He bounces straight back to his feet but is forced to take the mandatory standing 8 count before he's allowed to continue. We're back under way and the fighters meet in the middle of the canvas to re-engage.

Gunner is rocked!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Doncic connects with a stiff jab that staggers Gunner - oh and he follows up with a huge uppercut that knocks him out cold! Man, that was brutal!
