Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Brandon Rose!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Felix Dubois!
The judges for this bout are Winston Alpacca, Peter Branson and Santiago Holmes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dubois keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Rose uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Dubois.
A punch combination from Rose misses.
Rose throws a right and a left that Dubois avoids nicely.
Dubois with the counter takedown but Rose avoids it easily.
Rose misses with a head kick.
A head kick by Rose misses
and Dubois counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Dubois content to control rather than advance.
Dubois winds up and cracks Rose with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Dubois has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Dubois working over Rose with some ground and pound. Rose looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
Dubois looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Rose with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Rose definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Rose on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Rose is trying to stand.

Rose wants to control but Dubois is keeping busy.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Dubois lands a few punches from side control.
Dubois is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Rose is trying to escape and Dubois transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Rose is forced to tap! Nice work there by Dubois! Very nice indeed!

Felix Dubois was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
