Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Glenn Morano (ranked 6720 p4p, 2915 weight class) and Southall Freeman (ranked 323 p4p, 183 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Glenn Morano!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Southall Freeman!
The judges for this bout are Peter Branson, Winston Alpacca and Michael Johnstone.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

We've been informed that Freeman has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Freeman misses with a double jab.
Freeman misses with a head kick.
Morano avoids a punch combination nicely.

Freeman takes the fight into the clinch.
Freeman digs a right hand underneath Morano's ribcage. Morano let out a lung full of air as it connected.
Freeman makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Morano throws an elbow but it's blocked.

Morano jumps guard and drags Freeman to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Morano is on top in guard.

Morano is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Morano got a little sloppy there for a moment and Freeman has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Morano has managed to get both his arms back between Freeman's legs - danger averted.

Freeman had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Morano defends it easily.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Freeman is trying to control the position but Morano postures up.
Freeman is wriggling around but Morano manages to pass to half guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Freeman is looking to improve his position.
Morano wants to lay and pray for a moment but Freeman keeps working.
Morano passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Freeman!
Freeman tries to buck Morano off but Morano takes his back!
Morano throwing strikes from the back - he gets a warning from the referee for striking the back of the head but all these shots are hurting Freeman!

Freeman is defending well here and trying to improve his position.
Morano is looking to control Freeman but Freeman is wriggling around and keeping busy.
Morano slows the pace down here. Having a little breather whilst he's in a dominant position, looking to rest and regain some energy, ready to go for the finish.

Morano is working for the choke. I would put my money on him to finish from this position. He's rolled onto his back and has dragged Freeman with him. Freeman is trying to defend but Morano has an arm under the chin now! Freeman grimaces and is forced to tap out!
