Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Sensai Kuragi (ranked 2526 p4p, 2642 weight class) and Kyree Suder (ranked 349 p4p, 361 weight class). Kyree Suder is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Sensai Kuragi! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Kyree Suder! The judges for this bout are Santiago Holmes, Michael Johnstone and Dirk Anderson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Suder changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Kuragi tries to avoid it but Suder manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Kuragi to the ground. Kuragi escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Suder fails with the takedown. Suder tries to score a power double leg takedown but Kuragi sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Suder somewhat. Sensai Kuragi has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kyree Suder. No luck with that takedown attempt from Suder. Kuragi tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Suder swivels and escapes. Suder tries for a takedown but Kuragi sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Kuragi appears to be looking for a counter takedown. Kuragi fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Suder avoids it really well and circles away. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Suder gets caught napping as Kuragi dives in and scores a takedown. Suder manages to retain guard. Kuragi has gone for a leg lock! Suder slips out almost immediately though and dives into Kuragi's guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kuragi wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. Suder is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Suder postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Kuragi is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Suder, into his guard. Kuragi wants to control from the top but Suder keeps moving. Suder looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Kuragi passes into half guard.
Kuragi is keen to just control but Suder is a slippery customer.

Kuragi drops back looking for a leg! Suder is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Suder manages to kick Kuragi off! Kuragi jumps back into Suder's guard. Kuragi advances to half guard. Suder wants to get back to full guard. Kuragi is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Kuragi is keen to just control but Suder is a slippery customer. Kuragi is really struggling to control Suder but he's trying to hold on to the position. Suder actively working from the bottom here. Suder looking to force a kimura from the bottom here. He's concentrating on that move too much though and Kuragi pushes past his half guard into mount! Suder is trying desperately to improve position. Suder gets back to half guard. Suder is defending against the submission attempts here by Kuragi.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Suder trying to control here.

Sensai Kuragi dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! Suder shoots in for a takedown but Kuragi shows good takedown defense. Kuragi drops down looking for a counter takedown but Suder sprawls and moves away. Suder shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Kuragi as he jumps to the side. Kuragi closes the distance and clinches up with Suder, looking for a takedown. Kuragi pushes Suder against the cage but Suder circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Suder fails with a takedown attempt. Kuragi tries to counter with a takedown but Suder is quick to defend against it. Sensai Kuragi has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kyree Suder. Kuragi feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Kuragi stopping the sweep attempt from Suder. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Suder is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Kuragi is aware though and is defending well. We've been informed that Suder has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight. That's one minute gone in the round. Suder manages to get back to half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Kuragi is trying to work for a kimura but Suder is defending well.

Kuragi looking to pass the guard. Suder has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Kuragi can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Suder keeping moving, preventing Kuragi from controlling successfully.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Kuragi got a little sloppy there for a moment and Suder has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Kuragi has managed to get both his arms back between Suder's legs - danger averted. Suder looking to sweep here. No luck so far. That's three minutes gone in the round. Kuragi drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Kuragi jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Suder is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Kuragi is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Kuragi definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Suder can do anything to dispel that myth. Suder throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Kuragi is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Suder can do to turn this around? Suder looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Suder keeping full guard, as Kuragi tries to pass. Sensai Kuragi overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Suder keeping moving, preventing Kuragi from controlling successfully. Suder bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Kuragi's guard.
Suder drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Kuragi manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Suder has Kuragi in his guard.

Sensai Kuragi dominated that second round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round! Suder with a poor takedown and Kuragi counters with a nice double leg into guard. Sensai Kuragi is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Suder being controlled here, momentarily. Kuragi looking to pass the guard. Kuragi wants to control from the top but Suder keeps moving. Suder wants to sweep but no luck. Suder is trying to keep Kuragi in close.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Kuragi is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Suder has escaped the position, nice work there. Suder is positioning himself to get back to half guard. The referee tells the fighters to keep busy. Suder is not content to let Kuragi control the position. Kuragi taking a breather here.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Still in half guard, Kuragi seems content to control. Kuragi seems to be working for a kimura but Suder defends the submission attempt. Suder is not content to let Kuragi control the position. Kuragi uses his free foot to push down on Suder's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Suder. Kuragi content just to control the position here. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Kuragi tries to control but Suder wriggling away. Kyree Suder has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Kuragi controlling the pace for now.
And that's the end of the fight! Sensai Kuragi showed his dominance in that final round. Well Kuragi has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
