CWC 297 - Lemieux vs Kakuto PBP Commentary |
This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the light heavyweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of Amsterdam, with a TWGC record of 12 wins and 10 losses; Don Lemieux! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Montreal, with a TWGC record of 22 wins and 16 losses; Tsuyoi Kakuto! The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Radbod Blank and Albert Achterberg.
The official calls the fighters to the middle and the contest is under way. Kakuto misses with a takedown attempt - Lemieux sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Nice takedown defense from Lemieux. No joy for Kakuto on that attempt. Lemieux tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Kakuto manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Kakuto feints and as Lemieux raises his hands in defense, Kakuto changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
