Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 26 - 29 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Great Tiger!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tiger lands a leg kick that knocks Valentine off balance momentarily.
Tiger misses with a body shot.
Valentine swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Tiger misses the shot to the body.
Valentine on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Tiger. Tiger obviously looking to wear him down.
Valentine throws a jab when Tiger was well out of range.
Tiger lands with a thumping leg kick.
Tiger catches Valentine with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Valentine keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
And Valentine counters with a quick kick to the body but Tiger blocks it.

Valentine looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Valentine takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.

Valentine was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.

Tiger is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Valentine rather than just go for the knockout.

enabling Valentine to counter with a crisp jab.

It looks like Great Tiger has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Tiger shoots in looking for a takedown. Valentine tries to sprawl out of it but Tiger keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Valentine manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
It looked like Valentine was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.

Valentine rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Valentine moves out of range of the body kick from Tiger.
A slow jab from Valentine misses its intended target.
Tiger misses with a body punch
and Valentine counters with a nice uppercut.
Tiger takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Tiger throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Valentine on the side of the head.
Tiger tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
It looked like Valentine wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Giggle Valentine is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

and Valentine counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Tiger's coach down at Kaptajnernes Træningscenter was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Tiger's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Tiger throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Valentine is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.

Tiger staying out of range there.
Tiger fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Valentine.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Tiger scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Valentine is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.

Great Tiger seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Tiger walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

and Valentine counters with a huge right that knocks Tiger out cold! Valentine is running around with a crazed look on his face - you can see how much that meant to him!
