Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Johan Christ (ranked 1356 p4p, 23884 weight class) and Tayaen Porfirigo (ranked 184 p4p, 642 weight class). Tayaen Porfirigo is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Johan Christ! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 4 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Tayaen Porfirigo! The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Patrick Alders and Albert Achterberg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Porfirigo gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Christ lunges at Porfirigo with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Porfirigo's hand. Christ uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Porfirigo has time to react. Christ's jab looks to have found its range, popping Porfirigo under the eye.
Porfirigo is rocked! Porfirigo slips under a jab. Porfirigo lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected. Christ swings widly with a right hand
and Porfirigo counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Christ wants to get back to his feet.
Porfirigo working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Christ pushes Porfirigo off looking to stand but Porfirigo dives back in and keeps control.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. A telegraphed right hand from Christ misses the target. Porfirigo wants to counter the offense by Christ and move into the clinch position. Christ misses with a lunging right hand
and Porfirigo counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Porfirigo has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Still in half guard, Porfirigo seems content to control. Christ knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Porfirigo on the ground. Porfirigo stops Christ from getting back to his feet.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Christ is staying active underneath Porfirigo, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Porfirigo is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Christ has managed to free his arm - good work. Christ's coaches at Zero Tolerance have been working on his defensive grappling in preparation for this fight so let's see if he can get out of this tricky position. Christ wants to get back to his feet.

Porfirigo takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Christ jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.

Porfirigo slips under a jab. Porfirigo feints a counter leg kick. Porfirigo takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Christ lands a nice hook to Porfirigo's body. Porfirigo takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Christ, as that shot connected.
Porfirigo uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Christ. Christ throws a hook but Porfirigo blocks it. Christ lands the left hand.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Christ darts in and out, connecting with a jab. Porfirigo slips a jab from Christ. Porfirigo is looking for the big counter here. Christ misses with a looping left. A little jabbing left from Porfirigo on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Christ is really peppering his opponent's head with punches. This has been an exciting period of action! Good standup being displayed there by Christ as he connects with a hook. Christ lands the left hand. Porfirigo is still on wobbly legs! Can Christ finish him? Christ misses with a hook. Porfirigo wants to counter the offense by Christ and move into the clinch position. Porfirigo seems to have recovered his senses. Christ drops Porfirigo with a beautiful combination! Porfirigo stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Christ is looking for the KO! Christ misses with a hook
and Porfirigo counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Christ's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Porfirigo shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Johan Christ dominated that round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! Porfirigo slips a straight right by Christ. Porfirigo is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own. Christ scores with a decent looking hook. Christ lands with a shot to the body. Christ looks to land a left hand but Porfirigo moved out of range nicely. Christ lands a head shot. Christ throws a jab when Porfirigo was well out of range. Porfirigo is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own. Johan Christ seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Christ missing with a left hand there. Porfirigo was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Porfirigo looks like he wants to counter punch here. Christ is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Christ misses the jab. Christ is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Porfirigo can do to turn this around? Christ scores with a hook. Christ cracks Porfirigo's jaw with two stiff jabs then ducks low and throws a soul-severing right uppercut to the mouth!! Porfirigo slumps to the ground with blood on his lips. The referee steps in before Christ can do further damage! This one is done, son!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:57 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Johan Christ! During a confident post fight interview, Johan Christ thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him. In defeat, Tayaen Porfirigo stepped up to the mic, saying 'Now, I will kill myself...'.
