Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Luca Altieri (ranked 2275 p4p, 3068 weight class) and Khamzat Sonnen (ranked 299 p4p, 387 weight class). Sonnen has chosen ТИМУР МУЦУРАЕВ - В ТУ НОЧЬ КОГДА РОЖДАЛИС as his entrance music. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Khamzat Sonnen!
The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Luis Engracia and Mauricio Rocha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Altieri throws a chopping leg kick but Sonnen manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Altieri gets the takedown into side control.
Altieri is putting a hurting on Sonnen here, landing some big shots from side control.
Sonnen is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Altieri's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.
Altieri prevents Sonnen from standing back up.

Sonnen wants to sweep but Altieri has passed to side control!

Oooooh, big shot lands for Altieri! Sonnen is hurt baaadly! Altieri is firing away with more strikes - Sonnen is covering up... the ref is warning him to do something. He's just covering up though still and the ref has to step in to end the fight! This one is all over!
