Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lucca Burt (ranked 3494 p4p, 3535 weight class) and Shang OR (ranked 69 p4p, 126 weight class). Lucca Burt had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Lucca Burt!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Shang OR!
The judges for this bout are William Peck, Trevor Gratis and Gregory Folan.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

OR drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

OR got a little sloppy there for a moment and Burt has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, OR has managed to get both his arms back between Burt's legs - danger averted.
OR is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
OR tries to free his leg and advance position but Burt is retaining full guard.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Burt is on top in guard.

OR has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Burt off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
Burt darts in and out, connecting with a jab.

OR moves into the clinch.

OR successfully pulls guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Burt trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

OR looking for a sweep. Not yet OR, not yet.

OR had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Burt defends it easily.
Burt has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
OR is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
OR not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Burt tries to free his leg and advance position but OR is retaining full guard.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Burt wants to control from the top but OR keeps moving.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
OR throws some sloppy strikes off his back.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.

OR clinches.
Good anti-grappling being displayed by OR as Burt tries to tie him up.
Burt looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.

OR successfully pulls guard.
Burt trying to control the position from guard on top but OR is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

OR manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage.
Burt jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as OR walks away with a smile on his face. Burt gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

OR manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Burt on his heels. He'll look to pass Burt's guard now, I'm sure.
OR trying to control but Burt is working from the bottom.

OR stands and steps away. Burt gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Burt connects with a body shot.

OR has taken the fight to the clinch.

Burt breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Burt moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
A right-left combo lands from Burt.

OR shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Burt is trying to defend but OR finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Burt scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but OR manages to mount him!

Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!

Lucca Burt seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A nice combination there by Burt.

OR closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Burt is trying to control OR's posture but OR avoids it.
OR has knee on belly and moves into mount.
OR breaks from Burt's wrist control and lands an elbow.

Burt is rocked!

It looks like Lucca Burt has been cut.
Burt knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for OR on the ground.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Burt tries to improve his position but instead OR has taken his back!
Burt wants to control his opponent's hands but OR gets his hands free.

OR has good solid back control here.
Burt is really stuck here.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

OR is persistently looking for the submission but Burt is defending it well.
Burt is trapped and OR is scoring with shots to the head and body.
Watch the back of the head! Comes the shout from the referee towards OR.
Oh Burt is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Burt tries to roll but OR sticks to his back.
A bit of a pause in the action here. OR controlling the positon.
Burt seems to have got his legs back now.
OR has the hooks in. Burt is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.

Burt is trapped and OR is scoring with shots to the head and body.
OR is controlling his opponent, waiting for an opportunity to finish.

OR working for the choke.
OR trying to secure his dominant position for a moment - making sure Burt doesn't escape.

Burt is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.

OR biding his time, looking for the opening.
Let's hope that OR has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
OR is continuing to stall.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Shang OR showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The cut man is working on Lucca Burt's cut.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Burt dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Burt jabs at OR's body.

OR shoots in for a takedown and gets it.

Burt kicks OR off and gets back to his feet.

OR looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Burt is fending him off so far but OR persists. Nope, Burt circles away and we're back to standing.
Burt's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Burt duly obliges.
OR dodges the punch combination from Burt.
Despite the aggression on OR's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
Burt lands a two punch combo.

OR fails with the takedown
enabling Burt to counter with a crisp jab.
OR misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
OR throws a push kick but Burt slaps the foot to one side.
OR takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Burt cracks OR with a good jab.
OR throws a looping overhand right but Burt ducks down to avoid it.
Burt lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Burt throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
A decent looking cross lands there for OR.

Lucca Burt's cut is getting worse.
A jab lands there for Burt.
Burt rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but OR moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
OR shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

OR drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Burt tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Burt can't do much from the bottom here.

OR decides to stand back up. OR steps back and let's Burt get back to his feet.

Burt wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

OR closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Burt's guard.

Burt is looking for a sweep. OR is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
OR landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
Burt is not content to let OR control the position.
Burt won't allow OR to pass to mount.
