Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bigfoot Werdum (ranked 3106 p4p, 4803 weight class) and Alda Love (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Bigfoot Werdum! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Alda Love! The judges for this bout are Josh West, Micheangelo Fripello and Chris Saunders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Werdum tries for a takedown but Love sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Love is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own. Werdum tries to clinch up and Love counters with a straight right hand. Love closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Love missing with knees to the body.
Love is pressed up against the cage. Werdum has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Love down to the mat. Love avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Werdum tries to keep at a distance but Love has taken the fight into the clinch. Love pulls Werdum into guard.
Werdum drops back, looking for a kneebar! Love looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Love looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Love!
Love really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Werdum. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet. Love tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Werdum is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Love scoring with punches and elbows. Love lands a few punches from side control. Werdum tries to improve position but can't. Werdum looks to move to half guard but instead Love has passed into mount! Damn! Love controlling the position easily from mount. Love lands with some strikes. Werdum is looking to get to half guard. Love landing strikes from the mount.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Love takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Love working for a submission but Werdum is keeping him at bay. Werdum is trying to reverse the position but instead Love has taken his back - oops! Love is hanging on to Werdum's back as he tries to escape.
Werdum is working hard here to advance position. Werdum is breathing heavily. Love controls the action. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Werdum grimaces as he takes a shot to the body. Love just keeping the dominant position. He can't wait too long though, otherwise the referee will stand them back up.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Love punches Werdum on the ear. Love has good solid back control here. You can see the frustration on Werdum's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
Love lands shots from the back. Love slows the pace down here. Having a little breather whilst he's in a dominant position, looking to rest and regain some energy, ready to go for the finish.

Love is throwing strikes from the back here. Oh that last one was to the back of the head. Love gets a warning from the referee. He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. Love gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. Love apologises and we restart here on the feet.

and Love moves into the clinch. Werdum is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Love is defending well. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bigfoot Werdum. That's going to take a lot out of him.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Werdum drops down looking for an ankle pick but Love pulls his leg out and moves away.
Love gets a double leg takedown into Werdum's guard. Love is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. It looks like Love might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it. Love passes easily into side control. Nice work. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Werdum is letting Love control him for a moment. Werdum is looking for a sweep. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Alda Love dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Love shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Love showed some decent athleticism there. Werdum is looking for a sweep. Love is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Werdum looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Love looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Werdum with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Love wants to free his trapped foot but Werdum is holding on for dear life with his legs. Werdum actively working from the bottom here. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Love is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Werdum actively working from the bottom here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Werdum is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
