Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Juju Nuninho! The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Seu Braga and Luis Engracia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wong bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Wong controls the position. Wong has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. Nuninho tries to get back to half guard but can't. You can see the frustration on Nuninho's face as Wong controls the position. Wong works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head. Nuninho is breathing heavily. Wong tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Wong seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Nuninho for as long as he can get away with.
The referee stands the fighters back up. Ping Wong just wasn't active enough from the dominant position. Nuninho shoots and misses and Wong counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Nuninho's guard now. Wong sitting in guard here, content to control.

Wong gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Wong forces his way into half guard. Nuninho has guillotine here! It looks pretty tight! Could this be all over! No, Wong escapes and passes into side control at the same time. Nice work there by Wong! Nuninho tries to bench press Wong off him but Wong keeps the position. Ping Wong dominated that second round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!

Nuninho tries to improve position but can't. Wong happy to just control the position for now. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Wong closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Ping Wong overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Wong wants to control but Nuninho is keeping him busy. Nuninho gets back to half guard. Wong wants to pass to mount but Nuninho is defending the position. Nuninho looking for submissions off his back.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Nuninho looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Nuninho wants to get back to full guard. Wong perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Nuninho actively working from the bottom here. Nuninho trying to control but Wong postures up.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Nuninho gets caught flat footed, as Wong shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Nuninho looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
