Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Stewie Brooks (ranked 5584 p4p, 3792 weight class) and Dexter Jones (ranked 605 p4p, 468 weight class). Dexter Jones will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 2 - 5 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Stewie Brooks! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Dexter Jones! The judges for this bout are David Hoff, Santiago Holmes and Peter Branson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jones lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
A telegraphed right hand from Jones misses the target. A jab from Jones misses. Brooks throws a leg kick that is checked and Jones counters with a lovely straight right hand! Brooks on the wrong end of a nice hook. Jones misses with a shot to the body and Brooks counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Brooks. Brooks definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Stewie Brooks has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dexter Jones. The referee calls for Brooks to work.

Jones looks to land a left hand but Brooks moved out of range nicely. It looked like Brooks wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. A jab from Jones misses. And that's the end of the fight! Stewie Brooks showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Brooks, winning every round. Will the judges agree?
