Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Simo Halli (ranked 1293 p4p, 2779 weight class) and Keke Kivi (ranked 194 p4p, 364 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Keke Kivi was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Halli looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Kivi!
Halli wants to control but Kivi is keeping him busy.
Kivi really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Halli. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Kivi tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Halli has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Halli is trying to get an arm triangle but Kivi is defending well.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Kivi can do anything to dispel that myth.
Halli trying to control the action but Kivi is working from the bottom.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Halli is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Kivi knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Halli tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Halli staying calm.
Kivi is looking for a sweep.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Halli working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Kivi is trying to escape the position but Halli is controlling the position.
Kivi is not content to let Halli control the position.

Halli is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Kivi is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Kivi is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Halli's leg. Oh but that's left an opportunity for Halli! He's got an arm triangle... it looks tight! He's rotating and Kivi has tapped! This one is allllll over!
