Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Nevez Amadaus (ranked 2791 p4p, 4463 weight class) and Brendan Lawson (ranked 160 p4p, 249 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Frank Antenori and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lawson tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Amadaus paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Lawson throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

It looks like Brendan Lawson has been cut.
Lawson changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Amadaus looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Amadaus's coaches at Slaughter Houze have been working on his defensive grappling in preparation for this fight so let's see if he can get out of this tricky position.

Amadaus wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.

Amadaus drops Lawson with a straight right hand, right on the button! Amadaus follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!

After the fight, Nevez Amadaus was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
