Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Samuel Summers (ranked 2036 p4p, 2236 weight class) and Happy Chukwudu (ranked 256 p4p, 283 weight class). Chukwudu is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Rooster. Happy Chukwudu has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Summers lands with a shot to the body.
Summers walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

Chukwudu displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Summers throws out the jab.

That was a close round but I would say that Samuel Summers will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action.

Chukwudu has his foot on Summers's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Summers works his way back into a safe position though.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Samuel Summers.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Summers, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
