Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Hasen Wineburg (ranked 5733 p4p, 4594 weight class) and Mecka Clutch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Hasen Wineburg! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Mecka Clutch! The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Michael Johnstone and Santiago Holmes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A punch combination from Wineburg misses. Clutch changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt. Wineburg fails in his attempt to clinch. Wineburg fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Clutch avoids it really well and circles away. Wineburg with a lazy takedown attempt and Clutch counters with a takedown into side control. Wineburg tries to bench press Clutch off him but Clutch keeps the position. Clutch looks up at the clock and then as Wineburg takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Clutch smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Clutch lands an elbow. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Clutch connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Wineburg some visible discomfort.
Clutch decides to stand back up. Wineburg throws a right and a left that Clutch avoids nicely. Wineburg shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Clutch but Clutch pushes him off and we're back to square one. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Hasen Wineburg. That's going to take a lot out of him.
That's one minute gone in the round. Clutch closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Clutch controls the position. Wineburg is not in a great position here, taking some shots. Wineburg takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Clutch scores with a couple of short elbows. Wineburg regains half guard. Wineburg is breathing heavily. Clutch working over Wineburg with some ground and pound. Wineburg looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Clutch winds up and cracks Wineburg with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Wineburg knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Clutch on the ground. Clutch takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Clutch passes to side control. Clutch happy to just control the position for now. It looks like Clutch might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it. Clutch decides to stand back up. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Wineburg gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Clutch holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Clutch manages to break the clinch.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Clutch gets a double leg takedown into Wineburg's guard. Clutch is working the ground and pound from guard. Clutch postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Wineburg wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Clutch is now in half guard. Clutch is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Clutch working over Wineburg with some ground and pound. Wineburg looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Nice strikes from Clutch there. Clutch keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Clutch works his way into full mount! Clutch landing punches. Wineburg is trying to escape the mount.
Clutch lands a couple of good shots and Wineburg has given up his back, trying to escape the position! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Clutch lands with a big left hand that may well have hurt his opponent. Can Wineburg hold on?!
Clutch is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. Wineburg has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Clutch has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! Wineburg taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Clutch doesn't care though - he's delighted!
