Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Don Winkell and Jack Bonds.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No joy there for Jackson, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Sydal tries to counter by closing the distance.
Jackson throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Jackson bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Sydal takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Jackson lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
A head kick from Jackson lands but Sydal takes it in his stride.

Jackson gets caught napping as Sydal dives in and scores a takedown. Jackson manages to retain guard.

Jackson manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Jackson lands an elbow inside that Sydal shrugs off.

It looks like Dylan Sydal has been cut.
Jackson scores with a shot to the side of Sydal's head.
Sydal swings away with an uppercut that misses.
The referee is keeping an eye on Sydal - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.

Jackson escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Jackson avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Jackson cracks Sydal with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.

Sydal closes the distance and clinches.
Jackson scores with a shot to the side of Sydal's head.
Sydal blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.

Sydal drops down looking for an ankle pick but Jackson pulls his leg out and moves away.
Sydal shoots in looking for a takedown but Jackson manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Sydal's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Jackson throws a combination. Sydal tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Donk. Jackson catches Sydal right on the button with a cross.
Jackson lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Jackson batters Sydal with a massive right followed by a huge left! Sydal is out on his feet looking like a zombie as Jackson lands a final crushing right hand to drop Sydal to the mat with a gruesome thud! Jackson is running around like a mad man after that fight and for good reason!
