Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Sss Sss (ranked 24744 p4p, 24536 weight class) and Xxx Xxx (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 20 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sss Sss!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 14 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Xxx Xxx!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Wesley Smith and Daniel Franklin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Sss shoots in for a double leg but Xxx sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Xxx doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter.
Horrible takedown attempt by Sss or perhaps it was just good defense by Xxx, which made it look bad.
Xxx follows through with a counter body kick but it doesn't land.
Sss shoots for a takedown but Xxx saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
And Xxx responds with a good body kick, but Sss manages to step out the way in time.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Sss Sss. That's going to take a lot out of him.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Sss bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Xxx struggling a bit here.

Sss wants to stand but Xxx has his arm trapped.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Sss tries to get to his feet but Xxx is in the middle of advancing position himself and ends up with Sss in his guard.
Sss wants to get up but he can't break Xxx's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

Sss fails with a takedown attempt from distance.

Sss closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Xxx quickly recovers to half guard.
Sss is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.

Sss decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.
Xxx displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Sss.
As Sss backs off Xxx throws a huge counter combo but Sss manages to avoid it all.

Xxx shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Xxx was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Xxx decides to take the fight back to the feet.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Sss Sss will probably get the nod.

Xxx stuffs the takedown attempt from Sss. Sss gets slowly back to his feet.

And Sss counters with a quick kick to the body but Xxx blocks it.
Sss closes the distance and clinches up with Xxx, looking for a takedown. Sss pushes Xxx against the cage but Xxx circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Xxx dives in for a single leg takedown but Sss sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Sss Sss has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Xxx Xxx.

Sss fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Xxx avoids it really well and circles away.
Xxx is trying to counter with his kicks.

Xxx drives through with a takedown into Sss's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.

Sss wants to stand and escape but Xxx is having none of it.
Sss is controlling Xxx's posture.

Xxx looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.

Sss tries for a takedown but Xxx sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Xxx replies with a solid counter kick to the body but Sss blocks it well.

Xxx throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Sss tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Xxx is in Sss's guard.
Sss wants to stand up but Xxx is controlling him.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Sss closes the distance and clinches up with Xxx, looking for a takedown. Sss pushes Xxx against the cage but Xxx circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Xxx slaps away a takedown attempt from Sss, before circling back to the center of the mat.

Sss changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Xxx looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Sss looking to control but instead Xxx has slipped a leg in, to regain half guard.
Xxx keeping control of the position.
Let's hope that Xxx has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Sss missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
Xxx wants to get back to his feet.
Sss is trying to control. Xxx wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.

Xxx drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

Sss has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Xxx has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage.
Xxx Xxx has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Sss Sss is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Xxx is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Sss gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.

I would just about give that final round to Xxx Xxx.
