PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Maro Pjetlic (ranked 826 p4p, 840 weight class) and DeeJay Dawkins (ranked 126 p4p, 128 weight class). Pjetlic comes into the arena with Legend blaring out of the sound system. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Pjetlic knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Dawkins on the ground.
Dawkins misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
Let's hope that Dawkins has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Dawkins cracks Pjetlic with a big elbow. Oh, he's hurt! Dawkins immediately mounts and start dropping bombs! Pjetlic is done! The referee jumps in and saves him from any more punishment - a quick and decisive finish by Dawkins!
