The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Gaius Marius dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Marius crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Wang - the referee stops the clock and Marius gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Wang. Marius manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Marius is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Wang can do to turn this around?
Marius will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

Wang closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Wang lands in his opponent's guard.

Marius does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

Well Marius has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

An out of breath Gaius Marius thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
Long Wang was interviewed post fight and said 'No worries. Everyone here knows my opponent has a bad habit of testing positive for PEDs, so I'm sure this fight will soon be ruled a 'No Contest' by the Athletic Commission.'.
