Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Iwon Raczynski (ranked 1624 p4p, 3104 weight class) and Jolly Roger (ranked 221 p4p, 406 weight class). Roger has chosen Under Jolly Roger as his entrance music. Jolly Roger has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Iwon Raczynski's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 7 - 2 - 1, fighting out of New York, Iwon Raczynski! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 13 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jolly Roger! The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Gwen Towbar and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Raczynski throws a big shot that misses. Roger is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here. Raczynski stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Raczynski wants it to stay on the feet. An attempted straight right counter from Raczynski misses the target. Roger fails with a takedown attempt. Roger fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Iwon Raczynski has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jolly Roger. Roger feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Roger working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Roger trying to control the position from guard on top but Raczynski is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Raczynski tries to land a sweep but no joy. Roger throws a big right hand that misses. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. That's one minute gone in the round. Roger being controlled here, momentarily. Roger has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Raczynski has passed into side control.
Roger tries to buck Raczynski off but Raczynski is having none of it. Roger has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Raczynski working away. Roger tries to improve position but can't. Roger manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. Roger trying to control but Raczynski postures up.
Roger is looking for a sweep. Raczynski is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Roger actively working from the bottom here. Roger is trying to get back to full guard. Raczynski has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage. Raczynski trying to control the pace. Roger looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Roger is looking to control Raczynski's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Roger avoid being mounted? The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Roger felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it. Roger tries to roll over but Raczynski keeps him under control. Raczynski throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Raczynski not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Roger looking to force a kimura from the bottom here. He's concentrating on that move too much though and Raczynski pushes past his half guard into mount! Roger wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Raczynski.
Roger tries to hold on but Raczynski pushes him away. Raczynski throwing strikes here but Roger is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Roger in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head. Raczynski lands a heavy elbow. Roger is in all sorts of trouble here.
Raczynski content just to control the position here. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Raczynski trying to control but he's not successful this time. Raczynski looking to control and managing it successfully. Roger is trying desperately to improve position. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Roger is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Iwon Raczynski dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. Good exchange - Roger coming out on top. Roger with a lazy takedown attempt and Raczynski counters with a stiff right hand.
It looks like Jolly Roger has been cut. Raczynski doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Roger blocks a jab. And Roger tries to counter it with a takedown but Raczynski pushes his down on his head and steps out. Roger takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.

Roger misses with a takedown and Raczynski cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Raczynski throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Raczynski with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Roger to score with a decent uppercut. Roger throws a sloppy body shot
and Raczynski counters with a crisp right hand that drops Roger! Raczynski lets Roger back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
Roger is rocked! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Raczynski lands with a shot to the body. Roger is still on wobbly legs! Can Raczynski finish him? Roger is breathing heavily. Roger shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Raczynski as he jumps to the side. A quick step to the side and Raczynski tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect. Iwon Raczynski has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jolly Roger. Roger circles to his right, straight into a beautiful hook by Raczynski. Roger falls face first into the canvas - great knockout victory for Raczynski!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:56 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Iwon Raczynski! After the fight, Iwon Raczynski was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
