And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Yoel Nando!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Nando forces Munoz back against the cage and clinches.
Munoz has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Nando avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Munoz is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Nando is defending well.
Nando stops a takedown attempt from Munoz.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rafael Munoz. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Nando is pressed up against the cage. Munoz has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Nando down to the mat. Nando avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Nando dives in and scores a takedown into Munoz's guard.

Munoz is looking for a triangle but Nando pushes his legs off easily.

Munoz has his foot on Nando's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Nando works his way back into a safe position though.
Nando slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Let's hope that Nando has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
Nando's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Nando got a little sloppy there for a moment and Munoz has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Nando has managed to get both his arms back between Munoz's legs - danger averted.

Munoz throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Nando escapes and throws Munoz's legs to the side, diving into side control!
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Munoz is letting Nando control him for a moment.

Nando tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Nando has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
