Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Sandra Marshall, Dirk Anderson and Michael Johnstone.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Furriel fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Davi sprawls well initially but Furriel persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Davi is trying to get back to full guard.
Davi is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Furriel pulls his head out easily.
Furriel is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Davi!
Davi really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Furriel. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Furriel breaks from Davi's wrist control and lands an elbow.

Furriel has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Furriel lands strikes from the back and Davi isn't doing enough to escape the position. The referee steps in to end the fight.
