Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Nigel Hudson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Speedy Gonzales!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Robert Twigg and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hudson tries to close the distance and clinch but Gonzales swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Hudson fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
A head kick misses from Hudson.
Gonzales fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Hudson, pushing him back against the cage.
Gonzales jumps into guard, dragging Hudson to the mat.
Gonzales is trying to control the position but Hudson postures up.
Gonzales tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Gonzales wriggles free and stands up.
Gonzales drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Hudson is trying to buck Gonzales off.
Hudson is looking to get back to his feet here but Gonzales is keeping cool and he's managed to take Hudson's back.
Gonzales connects with a series of strikes and the referee is calling for Hudson to escape the position.
Gonzales has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Gonzales misses with an elbow to the head.
Hudson covering up well under a series of strikes from Gonzales.

Gonzales gets his hands free as Hudson looks to control.

Let's hope that Gonzales has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
Hudson is breathing heavily.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Hudson holding both Gonzales 's hands and preventing any damage.
Can Hudson hold on?! Gonzales is landing more strikes to his hapless foe.
Hudson is being controlled on the ground here - he must escape this position otherwise surely the end is near.

Despite being in the dominant position, Speedy Gonzales just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Gonzales tries a head kick but it misses.
Hudson gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Hudson is looking for a sweep. Gonzales is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Gonzales looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Gonzales perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Gonzales is trying for a kimura here. Hudson looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Gonzales wins by kimura!
