Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Scotty Bapp (ranked 853 p4p, 1463 weight class) and Rhymin Slayin (ranked 117 p4p, 193 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 26 - 10 - 0, fighting out of New York, Scotty Bapp! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 26 - 23 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rhymin Slayin! The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, James Atkins and Daniel Bishop.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bapp throws a right hand that Slayin ducks under and follows up with a left that Slayin also avoids with ease. Bapp tries to land a front kick but Slayin steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. A low kick from Bapp misses and Slayin counters with a series of strikes. Bapp will be more careful next time no doubt. Slayin looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Slayin defending well as Bapp loads up on a big left hand. Slayin looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. Bapp throws a shot from downtown. Slayin moves away and avoids it. Slayin misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Slayin takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. Bapp scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Bapp connects with an inside leg kick. Bapp ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Slayin moves away. Slayin lands a big head kick that sends Bapp tumbling to the mat! Slayin takes a step backwards and waves Bapp back to his feet - he wants the finish!

It looks like Scotty Bapp has been cut. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Slayin gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Oh Bapp is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Slayin tries to land a knee to the head but Bapp blocks with his arms.
Slayin throws a head punch that misses. Bapp really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Bapp is trying to break the clinch but Slayin has him pressed against the cage. Slayin looking to throw knees to the head but Bapp is blocking nicely.
Bapp seems to have got his legs back now. Bapp tries to break the clinch but Slayin is controlling the position. A right hand to the body from Slayin.
Slayin working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely. An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Slayin. Slayin throws an elbow that misses.
Bapp on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
That's one minute gone in the round. Slayin tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. Bapp is trying to force a seperation but Slayin has the dominant position. Bapp escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Bapp misses with a head kick.
Bapp tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Slayin is able to avoid easily. Bapp has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Snake Eyes Fighting Systems in the buildup to the fight. Slayin tried to score with a low kick but Bapp checks it. A solid body kick from Bapp. Slayin gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Bapp. Bapp throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Slayin stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Bapp takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Bapp throws a low kick, looking for Slayin's leg but Slayin calmly moves out of range. Slayin only half commits to the counter leg kick. Bapp tries a low kick but Slayin avoids it. Bapp scores with a punch to the head. Slayin stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Bapp. Bapp misses with a hook
and Slayin counters with a head kick. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Slayin chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Slayin staying out of range there. Scotty Bapp seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Bapp fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Slayin.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Slayin moves forwards but Bapp connects with a nice, crisp jab. Bapp fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Slayin closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Bapp lands a big head kick that sends Slayin tumbling to the mat! Bapp takes a step backwards and waves Slayin back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Slayin is rocked! Bapp throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Bapp is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range. Slayin misses with a low kick.
A bone on bone clash there as Slayin blocks the leg kick.
Bapp lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. A jab from Slayin misses. Bapp misses with an attempted mid kick.
Slayin drops his hands momentarily and Bapp takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Bapp ducks under a wild hook from Slayin. Bapp misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Bapp dips to his left and cracks Slayin with an uppercut! Good work by Slayin as he checks the leg kick. Bapp gets off balance looking for a body kick and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bapp scores with a hook. Bapp looks to land a right hand but Slayin moved out of range. Bapp throws a lazy uppercut
and Slayin makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick. A head kick misses from Slayin. Slayin ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Slayin checks a low kick from Bapp. Slayin with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Slayin swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Bapp ducks under a wild hook from Slayin. Some bone on bone action there as Slayin checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. Slayin was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind. Bapp looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Slayin drives through and clinches with Bapp against the cage.
Slayin lands a hook that snaps the head of Bapp backwards. A short left from Slayin. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! A short right hand to the side of the head by Slayin. Slayin misses with a short punch on the inside. Bapp can't break the clinch.
Slayin lands a glancing elbow in the clinch.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bapp manages to break the clinch.
Slayin wants to clinch. Bapp thuds a left hand into Slayin's body. Bapp cracks a nice hook into Slayin's ribs. Bapp misses with a hook. Slayin ducked under it nicely. Bapp feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Slayins jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Slayin looks to throw the jab but Bapp is out of range. Slayin scores with a head kick. Bapp tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time. Bapp throws a hook to the side of Slayin's head but Slayin sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Slayin looks like he wants to counter punch here. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Bapp tries to bum rush Slayin with a series of wild strikes but Slayin uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Slayin is looking to clinch but Bapp is avoiding it.

And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Scotty Bapp will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Scotty Bapp's cut. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. Bapp scores with a jab to the jaw. Slayin looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. Bapp with a jab.
It looks like Rhymin Slayin has been cut. Scotty Bapp is winning the standup battle so far. Bapp comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Bapp scores with a nice head shot. Slayin needs to keep his hands up - Bapp had a free shot at his head there. Slayin is still on wobbly legs! Can Bapp finish him? A punch combination from Bapp misses. Slayin seems to have recovered his senses. Bapp misses with a jab, cross combination.
Rhymin Slayin is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Bapp throws a lazy right hand but Slayin sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Bapp misses with a low kick.
Bapp backing away here, and Slayin unleashes a leg kick that just misses. Slayin throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Bapp throws a big shot that misses. Good exchange - Slayin coming out on top. Bapp throws out a leg kick but Slayin moves out of range and Bapp only half commits. Slayin tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. A low kick lands for Bapp.

Rhymin Slayin seems to be working more effectively in the clinch in the fight so far. A shot in the inside from Slayin. This has been an exciting period of action! Bapp is trying to break the clinch but Slayin is controlling him.

Bapp breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Slayin stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Bapp. Oooooh!!! Slayin has knocked Bapp down with a huge combo! Slayin steps away and waves a wobbly Bapp back to his feet! This one might not go much longer! Slayin takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Bapp motions for Slayin to come forward. Bapp throws a leg kick but it misses it's target. Slayin looks like he wanted to counter with a high kick but didn't throw it. Bapp throws a poor cross that misses
and Slayin scores with a counter punch that sends Bapp to the canvas! Slayin smells blood - he's punishing Bapp with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Bapp has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:46 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Rhymin Slayin! After the fight, Rhymin Slayin was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
