Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ice misses with a two punch combination.
Ice throws a right hand that Valium ducks under and follows up with a left that Valium also avoids with ease.
Valium swings for the body but Ice moves out of range.
Valium throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Ice drops Valium with a nice combination! Ice dives into Valium's guard, looking to finish!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Valium looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Valium thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Ice sitting in guard, not really doing much.

Valium working a defensive guard here.
Ice controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

Valium working for a triangle but Ice defends it easily.

Valium has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Ice can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

Valium had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Ice is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Valium Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Ice's back instead.

Ice is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.

Valium is looking for the choke from the back position but Ice is controlling his hands well.

Ice is defending well here and trying to improve his position.
Ice controlling the position well but he knows he's in a bad position.
Valium looking to hold on to the position here but Ice rolls and ends up regaining guard.
Valium wants to control from the top but Ice keeps moving.
Ice really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Valium. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Ice has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Valium tries to free his leg and advance position but Ice is retaining full guard.

Valium wants to pass the guard but Ice is keeping the position.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Valium dodges the punch combination from Ice.

Ice rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Valium moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Valium swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Ice avoids the body shot from Valium.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Ice scores with a hook to the body. Valium takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Ice throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

and Ice counters with a nice body shot.
Valium shoots for a double leg takedown but Ice sprawls well. He's pushed Valium's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

and Ice counters with a one-two to the body.
Valium tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Ice paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Ice will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Valium shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Ice counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Viggo Valium. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Valium misses with a wild body shot.
Viggo Valium seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Ice throws a good cross that connects.
Valium gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily

and Ice counters with a combination of strikes to the head and body that crumple Valium!


It looks like Viggo Valium has been cut.

Ice controlling the action here.
Valium tries to roll over but Ice keeps him under control.
Valium wants to control but Ice is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Valium is trying to get back to full guard.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
No luck for Valium with that takedown attempt.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Vanilla Ice showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The cut man is working on Viggo Valium's cut.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!

Valium misses with a takedown
enabling Ice to counter with a crisp jab.
Valium is looking to wear down Ice with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Ice ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Valium moves away.
Ice thows a body shot but no joy.

and Ice counters with a left to the body.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Ice lands a slapping body shot.
Ice works the jab nicely.
Ice dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Valium. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
Donk. Ice catches Valium right on the button with a cross.


Valium is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Valium ducks right into an uppercut from Ice.
Oh Valium is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Ice lands an uppercut out of nowhere! Valium falls backwards - clearly groggy! Ice dives in and finishes the fight with more strikes for a TKO finish!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:05 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Vanilla Ice!
