Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Pacome Thibodeaux (ranked 3657 p4p, 25258 weight class) and Idle Wise (ranked 400 p4p, 633 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thibodeaux moves into range and connects with a jab.

Thibodeaux tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Wise paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Thibodeaux fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
The fighters circle momentarily. Thibodeaux darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

It looks like Thibodeaux has been trying to sharpen up his punching technique, as it looks crisper than last time we saw him.
A looping hook to the body misses from Thibodeaux. Wise does a little dance to reset his feet.
Wise let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.
Thibodeaux ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Thibodeaux wants to clinch up but Wise keeps it at a distance.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Wise! But no joy.

Wise takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Wise misses with a wild body shot.
Thibodeaux is looking for a counter combo.
Wise swings for the body but Thibodeaux moves out of range.
As Wise tries to get set, Thibodeaux tries to push him back and clinch up but Wise manages to avoid the attempt.
A combination from Wise does no damage.
Wise takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Thibodeaux slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.

Thibodeaux wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.

Thibodeaux lands a body shot.
Thibodeaux walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Wise drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Thibodeaux swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Wise's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!
