Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Johnny Cipriani!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, John Dupe!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Yukihiro Shimada and Sosuke Kotani.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dupe looks for a takedown but Cipriani sprawls well.
Cipriani has managed to clinch.
Cipriani prevents the takedown attempt.
Cipriani connects with a knee to the head.
It looks like John Dupe has been cut.
Cipriani has clasped his hands together around Dupe's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.
Cipriani decides to take the fight back to the feet.
Dupe doesn't manage to clinch there - Cipriani circles away.
Dupe fails with a takedown attempt.
Johnny Cipriani has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of John Dupe.
Dupe throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Dupe is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Cipriani darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Cipriani in particular looking to stall.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Cipriani is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!
Cipriani is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Dupe is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Dupe flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Cipriani anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Dupe and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Cipriani slips an arm under Dupe chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Cipriani has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Cipriani is squeezing on Dupe like an anaconda would it's prey. Dupe fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:51 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Johnny Cipriani!
