Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Issac Van Houtten (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Matt Van Buren (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Van Houtten comes into the arena with AFI - Miss Murder blaring out of the sound system. Van Buren has chosen the fall of troy - laces out, dan! as his entrance music. Matt Van Buren has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Saam Ante and Nard Betker.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Van Houtten misses with a head kick.
Van Buren tries to close the distance and clinch but Van Houtten swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Van Buren's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Van Buren avoids a strike by Van Houtten and manages to complete a very nice reversal in the process, to end up in Van Houtten's guard! Fantastic escape!
