PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jeremias Furtwangler (ranked 2581 p4p, 3045 weight class) and Blue Balls (ranked 339 p4p, 394 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Balls throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Furtwangler stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Furtwangler takes a shot right to the bread basket.

Furtwangler will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Furtwangler throws a looping overhand right but Balls ducks down to avoid it.
No joy there for Furtwangler, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Balls changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
Balls throws a shot from downtown. Furtwangler moves away and avoids it.

and Balls scores with a counter punch that sends Furtwangler to the canvas! Balls smells blood - he's punishing Furtwangler with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Furtwangler has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:50 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Blue Balls!
Blue Balls decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
