Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 7 - 0, fighting out of New York, Commie Hunter!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 24 - 8 - 0, fighting out of London, Wallace Cobb!
The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Roosa Järviläinen and Anni Minnemäki.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hunter bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Hunter lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Cobb backs up against the cage.
It looks like Wallace Cobb has been cut.
A lazy body kick from Hunter
and Cobb counters with a thumping low kick.
Hunter misses with a combination
and Cobb counters with a straight right hand.
It looks like Commie Hunter has been cut.
Hunter swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Cobb counters with a nice right hand that sends Hunter toppling to the canvas! Hunter scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Cobb finish him?!
Hunter is rocked!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Cobb thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Hunter if he has to take too many more of those.
Oh Hunter is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Hunter throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Hunter throws a series of punches but Cobb moves out of range.
Cobb connects with a solid leg kick.
Cobb is looking for an opening here. He's unloaded a big left hand that catches Hunter flush on the jaw and sends him tumbling to the canvas! Hunter is out cold! Cobb holds back from landing any unnecessary shots to his unconscious opponent, as the referee reacts slowly to the situation. A brutal knockout and then some excellent sportsmanship - this guy is my new favorite fighter!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:38 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Wallace Cobb!
