Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Ankle Breaker (ranked 2281 p4p, 3905 weight class) and James Clerk Maxwell (ranked 132 p4p, 221 weight class). James Clerk Maxwell will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ankle Breaker! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, James Clerk Maxwell! The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Daniel Blasius and Wagner Zegers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Breaker shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Breaker is looking for a kimura but Clerk Maxwell is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Breaker to get the leverage. Breaker throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Breaker is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount! Clerk Maxwell tries to lock up and control but Breaker gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Breaker throwing shots from mount but they're not landing. Breaker has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Breaker controlling the pace for now. Breaker looking to control but Clerk Maxwell is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
That's one minute gone in the round. Clerk Maxwell just holding on. Clerk Maxwell working to try and regain half guard.
Clerk Maxwell avoids a series of strikes thrown by Breaker.
Breaker misses with a head shot. Breaker lands a big elbow. Breaker jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Clerk Maxwell is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Clerk Maxwell and Breaker has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
Breaker thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Breaker wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Clerk Maxwell, who protects the arm well. Clerk Maxwell stops Breaker from passing to mount. Breaker postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Clerk Maxwell takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Breaker wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Clerk Maxwell, who protects the arm well. You can see the frustration on Clerk Maxwell's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Breaker tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Breaker is trying to get an arm triangle but Clerk Maxwell is defending well. Clerk Maxwell managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Breaker.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Breaker is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Clerk Maxwell knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Breaker has control of an arm but Clerk Maxwell manages to advance to Breaker's back! Clerk Maxwell struggling to keep hold of the position.
Breaker looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment. Breaker staying busy and making it hard for Clerk Maxwell to control. Breaker is in a tricky position but he's been working on his transitions down at Roosters Coop, so we'll see if he gets out of it. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Breaker trying to control but not successfully. Clerk Maxwell is trying to stick to Breaker's back but Breaker is turning into Clerk Maxwell. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Clerk Maxwell's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Breaker. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Ankle Breaker dominated that round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! Breaker misses with a takedown attempt - Clerk Maxwell sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Nice takedown defense from Clerk Maxwell. No joy for Breaker on that attempt. A countering left hand to the body from Clerk Maxwell misses. Clerk Maxwell cracks Breaker with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. Clerk Maxwell fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Breaker fails with the takedown and Clerk Maxwell counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ankle Breaker. That's going to take a lot out of him. Jab, jab by Clerk Maxwell - just one landing.
Breaker is rocked! Breaker ducks into an uppercut from Clerk Maxwell and that's knocked him out cold! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:49 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). James Clerk Maxwell! An out of breath James Clerk Maxwell thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
